Your Data Layer Matters

Beyond page name and meta description, a site’s data layer is not normally seen by page visitors. However, it’s the information search engines need to make your pages appear on a Search Engine Results Page (SERP).

From my tracking of organic traffic across a few particular pages compared to dates I’d submitted trouble tickets for the problem, we’re able to see the damage suffered from a broken data layer.
